With a full hour dedicated just to you, your one-to-one will be totally tailored to what you want to learn about - whether that's cable knitting, lace, colourwork, fit, socks, a brush-up on skills, or something else.

Bring your knitting project - and your baby - along to this special knitting workshop just for parents of pre-mobile babies.

Think of it as a mini-version of our popular Sweater School workshop; you bring your choice of project, whether that's a baby cardigan, a sweater for you, or anything else that takes your fancy, and get the help you need to master the techniques involved.

We'll have a playmat and toys for the babies, and tea, coffee, and snacks for the adults. There are just three spots per course, so there'll be plenty to go around.

Your tutor will be Jacki from the Woolly Badger - a knitting teacher and mum of two young boys. And if you haven't yet got a project picked out, then she or Meg, the owner of No Frills Knitting, will be able to help you find something.

Banish baggy backs. Get rid of the boob tent. Lift your arms with confidence. We're going to learn how to adjust knitting patterns so they've got enough space for your boobs without drowning you everywhere else.

In this 90-minute workshop we'll talk about:
- Standard size charts, and what they mean for standard fits
- The key measurements you need to get the right fit for you
- How to work out increase and decrease rates
- Different ways to make adjustments - and their pros and cons
- How to adjust different types of top

Getting comfortable with lace techniques requires confidence and Jacki empowers you with that by the ton - she simplifies the terminology and provides working examples to demonstrate the techniques. Over three hour-long sessions, we'll cover the basics of knitting; casting on, the knit and purl stitches, and casting off.

At the end of the sessions, you'll have all the skills you need to knit a basic cowl - the perfect on-the-go project.

We'll have plenty of tea, coffee, and snacks for the grown ups, and a playmat and toys for the babies. There are only 3 spots available for each course, so there'll be plenty to go round. 

Breastfeeding is welcome, and everything you need will be available to borrow for the sessions.
